Our Breeds
At Puppy Love Kennels we specializing in bringing families together. One of the ways we do this is by knowing the breeds and getting to know the family. Below is just a little information about the canine breeds we bring to our loving Dog Moms, Dog Dads, and families.
Frenchtons: 3/4 Frenchton and 50/50 Frenchton
Frenchtons offer a companion for every family type from single individuals to families with younger and older children. These little beauties have an activity level between the moderate activity level of a Boston Terrier and the relaxed, lazy activity level of a French Bulldog. They have an attractive and unique physical appearance favoring the best of both breeds. This makes them attractive to Boston Terrier and French Bulldog fans alike. They also, offer fewer health issues than what is found in the bully breeds and a healthy Frenchton can be adopted at a significantly lower cost than the fees associated with a healthy French Bulldog.
Frenchtons are a designer breed which are recognized as either a standard Frenchton (Boston Terrier, typically mother, and French Bulldog, typically father) or a 3/4 Frenchton (Frenchton, typically mother, and French Bulldog, typically father). Both types of Frenchtons come in many colors, weigh between 18 and 25 pounds, and are between 12 and 15 inches tall. They are more active than a French Bulldog but are typically less active than the average Boston Terrier. Life expectancy for a Frenchton is between 12 and 15 years.

Bostons Terriers: Standard and Colored
Boston Terriers are great pets for individuals or families looking for a long time companion to join their family. Depending how well your Boston is cared for, a Boston Terrier can live to be 12 to 14 years old. They love children and require time everyday for physical activity.
Boston Terriers are a lively, intelligent breed. They are friendly and make a great companion dog for any family. Because of their markings, it is easy for the Boston to be recognized. Standard Bostons have a short coat that is black, brindle, or seal with white markings. The white markings consist of a white blaze between the eyes, and a white chest, giving the Boston the “tuxedo” look.
A Colored, Splash, or Tri-Color Boston is a Boston Terrier whose coat is any color other than the standard black & white, brindle & white or seal & white. Non-Standard Boston Terriers include: liver & white (red), chocolate & white (brown), fawn & white, blue & white (silver or grey), honey & white (gold or tan), cream & white (blonde), cream, white, champagne & white (blue fawn). Colored Boston Terriers also include Splash or Tri-Colors which include patterns other than brindle and a variation. They are sometime referred to as piebald.
